Dell Tablets
Dell launched a new family of tablets just in time for the holiday shopping season. To help advertise them online we created a series of direct marketing pre-roll ads for each tablet and a spot for the family. Without a large budget shoot, I was challenged with coming up with a concept that would showcase key features of each device, while also being easy to recreate in display ads and other formats. I thought it was important that people experience what it’s like to use the tablets first-hand without even holding one, so we created a series of videos shot from the perspective of the viewer to show key features of each tablet. The hand gestures and devices were all shot in studio and the video on-screen is all stock. These ran primarily online however Dell decided to run the device family ad as a tv spot leading up to Christmas.
